Philippines - memorandum Circular No 16 series 2018 published

On 21 June 2018, the Philippines' Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA) published that  memorandum Circular No 16 series 2018 regarding the issuance of endorsement letter for bioefficacy field trials. All applications for Experimental Use Permits (EUP) must now have endorsement letters from the FPA provincial officer covering the area where the bioefficacy trial will be conducted. Upon submission of the terminal report, a second endorsement letter issued by the same officer acknowledging completion of the trial must then be attached.

Implementation of the abovementioned policy will improve coordination with our field officers by informing them exactly when a bioefficacy trial will be conducted and has ended.
