After two years of virtual meetings this year’s EGU General Assembly 2022 will bring together geoscientists from all over the world for one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences on 23 – 27 May 2022 in Vienna, Austria.

The EGU aims to provide a forum where scientists, especially early career scientists, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields mentioned above.

It will be a conference with a virtual component so that everybody can participate, in person or online!

Our knoell environmental scientist Dr Stefan Reichenberger will co-chair a session on „Micropollutants and pathogens in the soil-groundwater-river continuum: modelling, monitoring and mitigation”. He will also present two short oral presentations on surface runoff mitigation measures ”Impact of a new sediment parameterisation method in VFSMOD on PECsw/sed in FOCUS step4” and “Evaluation of the effectiveness of mitigation measures to reduce pesticide inputs into surface water bodies via surface runoff and erosion.” If these topics arouses your interest, register here and meet him in person or online.
