knoell Korea

Knoell Korea Ltd.

Our local services include support for global crop protection clients with the preparation of import tolerance dossiers for the Korean authorities as well as support for Korean companies with the global registration of their biocidal, chemical, crop protection, veterinary pharmaceutical and medical device products.

The Act on the Registration and Evaluation of Chemicals (K-REACH) includes the option for non-Korean companies to appoint an 'Only Representative' (OR) to take care of the regulatory duties (e.g. dossier preparation and submission, classification and labelling) for chemicals which are going to be manufactured locally or imported into the South Korean market. knoell Korea offers this service to European, US, Japanese and other global clients.

Apart from amendments to K-REACH, 2019 also saw the new Act on the Safe Control of Common Household Chemicals and Biocidal Products (K-BPR), a challenging piece of legislation which places new responsibilities on companies placing biocidal products on the South Korean market. With the knowledge and experience of our EU BPR experts accumulated over many years, knoell is ready to support both Korean and non-Korean companies with a complete range of services, including full registration support for biocidal active substance and product approvals, active substance ‘technical equivalence’ applications and liaising with the relevant authorities.
