Everything you need to know about the REACH regulation you will learn in this advanced level seminar!

Topics covered by the seminar:

  •     Dossier evaluation requirements
  •     Decision guidance on authorisation or restrictions
  •     Developments in candidate substances
  •     Possibilities and limits of substitution
  •     Regulatory expectations and enforcement

The seminar deals with REACH in a holistic sense and focuses on the individual aspects of the REACH regulation. Here, the authorities, starting with ECHA, have emphasised REACH as the core of European chemicals regulation in recent months and at the same time made it clear that, in their view, the level of information obtained so far is insufficient. This results in short and medium-term requirements for industry, starting with dossier evaluation.

However, the regulatory dynamics also affect other REACH-related challenges, which the seminar reflects on: For example, the topics of authorisation and restrictions are the focus of discussions. Substitutions will also be discussed and questioned. REACH has a significant impact in related areas of legislation. The consequences for all REACH managers in companies are that they have to find their way through a network of tasks. REACH means ongoing obligations, shapes communication up and downstream in the value chain, has both synergies and differences with other regulations on chemicals and thus requires all those involved to continue to deal with products in a structured and intensive manner.
