European Geoscience Union General Assembly 2019

Date
07 - 12 Apr 2019
Location
Location: Vienna, Austria

The EGU General Assembly 2019 will bring together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences.

This year’s assembly will allow more time for presentations and networking. The new schedule features posters, orals and PICOs in parallel, uses time blocks of 105 minutes, and includes a dedicated networking slot. This will allow for fitting in more oral presentations in the meeting, give more viewing time for posters and PICOs, and provide a more comfortable meeting experience for all. A dedicated networking slot will give attendees additional time to discuss and interact with colleagues, to view posters and to visit the exhibition. You can meet knoell environmental modelling experts Stefan Reichenberger and Florian Krebs in the Hydrology Session where they will share their experience in landscape-scale modelling (poster A.44, EGU2019-8111, 12 Apr 2019) and modelling of vegetated filter strips (VFS) as risk mitigation option (poster A.54, EGU2019-3980, 10 Apr 2019) within the regulatory framework of plant protection products.

As in previous years, Stefan Reichenberger also acts as co-convener, this year for the hydrology subsession on micropollutants in the soil-groundwater-river continuum.
